Smart phone that canbe used to take picture and send email is required for workshop. Participantsshall bring their own mobile to join the activity.
▎工作坊簡介
究竟我們是如何辨認、記住在一個空間場域中所見的景物，
以及移我們移動的軌跡的呢？
這樣的認知記憶過程，是一種全然的視覺再現嗎？
讓我們在駁二園區中移動，並拍下你希望記下的景物。
許多發生在空間中的瞬間，不論我們記不記得，它們都存在著，並將在「日落谷」(Sunset Valey)中聚集、交會。
How can we recognize and remember the sense of seeing and moving in place? Andis it a complete reenactment?
Let's move around the space and take a photo that you want.
The numerous situations in space, what I remember and what Idon't remember, but the moments that existed, converge in Sunset Valley.
▎進行方式及流程
15:00-15:20 藝術家簡介及工作坊介紹
15:20-15:50 參與者在駁二園區內移動，用喜歡的方式及拍攝角度，拍下各種景物場景
15:50-16:20 在蒐集的拍攝素材中，挑選5張照片現場以email寄給藝術家。藝術家將這些照片匯集到Sunset Valley 系統中進行後製，參與者將稍早蒐集素材走過的路線畫下來，並寫下過程中所見所想。
16:20-17:00 介紹Sunset Valley 的創作方式，並呈現後製後的參與者拍攝圖像
工作坊結束後，藝術家也將蒐集各個參與者繪製的園區踏查路線，置入Sunset Valley系統中，結合參與者拍攝的圖像，完成當日藝術家與參與者共同創作的作品。
15:00-15:20 self-introduce time,introduce workshop
15:20-15:50 Participants move aroundthe Pier-2 and collect the landscapes they want to capture in their own way.
15:50-16:20 Participants choose fivepictures and send mail to the artist.
During the time when artistproceed and transform participants’ images by putting into Sunset Valley, participantswill draw lines where they've moved and also write thoughts or drawing thatthey felt while moving space on another paper.
16:20-17:00 Introduce to peopleabout 'Sunset Valley' program and people's pictures that are either visible orinvisible on the screen depending on the set value.
After the workshop, people's drawing also transform and put intothe Sunset Valley. I'll edit that image screen for people.
▎藝術家簡介及日落谷(Sunset Valley)介紹 Artist Statement and about Sunset Valley
Sunset Valley (日落谷)是一套圖像模擬器，透過數據組合的方式數位化藝術家的手繪圖稿，再以數據組合的方式形成影像。此計畫同時也是藝術家進行實驗性創作計畫的網路平台，透過這套程式，虛擬數據將與現實中的空間產生連結。
“日落谷”會根據程式本身的設定，隨機生成許多不同的圖像。當藝術家將圖像切成好幾個圖層，在每個圖層，輸入不同的變因數據，這些圖層會重新排列組合成一個新的圖像。輸入夕陽谷的圖像在比例及形狀上，都具有可調整及變換的彈性，也因次輸出的圖象尺幅能符合真實的空間尺寸，融入真實環境中。
藝術家嘗試將分別代表高雄和仁川「現在」、「過去」的照片及歷史檔案等素材輸入「日落谷圖像模擬器」，運用上述的圖像建構方式創作，將高雄 / 仁川時間、空間上的「現在」與「過去」，融合在一個圖像中。

The Sunset Valley Image Simulator is a programthat automates my planar composition and builds a screen by combining digitaldata. This is a kind of network platform, and I experiment with the format inwhich virtual data is linked to real space through this program.
The 'SunsetValley' generates images randomly according to the settings, and all of theimages that generated is different.When I upload image data on each layer, all layers combine and createone image. My database is a vector file, because I want to be flexible in scaleshape and printed to fit the environment.
I try to create animage by uploading 'Kaohsiung current and past data' and 'Incheon current andpast data' to Sunset Valley. Like past data that is constantly being called tothe present, I will combine the time and space of the past Kaohsiung/Incheon throughthe program.I want make different time andspace into one image with Sunset Valley.
