▍Exhibition Text
Sitting by the harbor withmy friends at night and having a chat while facing the vast sea, I reconciledmyself to some memories of the past. When ships passed by, waves came crashingtowards the shore, touching it, and bouncing and overlapping around before thewater surface resumed its fragmentary yet orderly appearance.
This exhibition featureswhat I've seen around the harbor during my residence, and its title “~~~”, with three identical symbols not only hieroglyphically respond to thetheme of waves but also refer to my life that is ever-flowing and filled withups and downs.
Apart from the Port ofKaohsiung's rich historical background of shipping, I've also found that Pier-2is a place where emotions flow abundantly. Many activities and sights occurhere constantly, including the hubbub of tourists, after-images of revelingpartygoers' smiling faces illuminated by flashes of light, couples sittingclose together by the harbor, etc. I've looked at all of these as an outsider. Witha brief stay here, I've felt its atmosphere from a perspective that is bothimmersed and detached.

Space generates dialogue.
