ShangShiung store is an exhibition which was about describing the memory of mygrandparents grocery store and the old traditional market.
It was burnt down in the year of 2002 and then repaired after that. But thosegoods had disappeared after the fire.

I tried to use mud and made pottery with the features that it has as amaterial. Those pottery pieces were fired to be made hard and becomesculptures. The goods which are sold in my grandparents store are used as moldsto create pottery which is made by the use of overturn skills.

After the overturning process, the pottery comes out fresh in its in-betweenstages, still damp to its touch and full of humidity on its inside. Thestrength I put when touching the unburnt clay, slowly grouting and then thestresses of the whole process will become apparent as different colors on thesurface of the pottery when it is drying over time.
