The artist Yangkura plays a possible role as a visual artist on the boundary between an environmental activist and an artist.
His sculptures are collected from certain garbage like objects excluded.

They have been abandoned from so many different boundaries.

He collected them and tried to make redesign to visual art.
And his sculptures became new characters with specific lives.
He intends to play a role to give life and rebuild in order to bring them back into the boundary.

Also, he raises awareness about how garbage affects the environment through the workshop program, and he also tries to do an effort to present solutions to problems of the marine ecosystem caused by garbage through workshop programs with the public.

Even though he is not an activist trying to solve environmental problems. He seems to be trying to continue to play a role conveying the messages and setting the field with conversation and awareness through visual art.
